Cruz, the meeting focused on synchronizing security protocols for the upcoming ASEAN 2026 hosting and the imminent travel surge of the Chinese New Year season.
The high-level dialogue aligns with the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to deepen public-private partnerships, ensuring that national security policies translate into efficient, world-class public service.
With the Philippines taking center stage for ASEAN 2026, Usec. Cruz emphasized that “proactive planning and seamless coordination” are non-negotiable. The discussion centered on three primary pillars:
