PEZA and ASEANA Holdings solidify partnership with new IT park development

Reinforcing a long-standing commitment to national economic growth, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and ASEANA Holdings Inc. (AHI) officially signed a Registration Agreement on January 29, 2026, for the development of 8912 Asean Avenue.

Formalized under Proclamation No. 1111, the project designates the 14-storey structure in Aseana City as a new Information Technology (IT) Park. The agreement was signed by PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga and ASEANA City President and CEO Delfin Angelo Wenceslao at the Aseana 3 BPO Building in Parañaque City.

The development is poised to become a cornerstone of the “Metro South” growth corridor, featuring:

  • Total Floor Area: 100,708.36 square meters.

  • Structure: 14 storeys, including a penthouse and service deck.

  • Strategic Goal: Boosting job generation, business expansion, and high-value service exports.  “Economic development does not happen overnight. It is built patiently—through well-thought-out plans, consistent policies, and partnerships that endure through changing times,” stated DG Tereso O. Panga. “Aseana Holdings is a clear example of that kind of partner.”

This registration marks the fifth PEZA-registered building for AHI. Beyond the traditional IT-BPO sector, AHI is looking toward the future of specialized ecozones.

Delfin Wenceslao, President and CEO of AHI, noted that the company is actively exploring new frontiers:

  • Diversification: Moving into healthcare and medical tourism.

  • Future Pipeline: Programming new projects to sustain the momentum of the partnership.

The IT-BPO sector remains a critical engine for the Philippine economy. DG Panga reaffirmed PEZA’s bullish stance despite global economic shifts, citing the sector’s impressive track record:

Metric Achievement
Total Investment Share ~11% of PEZA’s total portfolio
Cumulative Investments Over PhP 360 Billion
Strategic Position Regional technology and services hub

“We are confident that this new addition will further strengthen Aseana City, create more quality jobs for Filipinos, and support one of our key focus sectors—the IT industry,” Panga concluded.
