A strategic partnership between agriculture and tourism will lead the POC:

President Marcos Jr. emphasized that this initiative is a core component of the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, stating that the event aligns with the administration’s goal of transforming the agricultural sector into a sustainable, competitive, and tech-driven powerhouse. “Our participation is a commitment to showcasing the Philippines’ rich biodiversity and our advancements in green technology and eco-tourism on the world stage,” the President noted.
he committee is tasked with highlighting several Philippine strengths, including:
-
High-Value Crops: Innovative agricultural and agri-fishery products.
