The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) assures the riding public that operations at Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPIA) remain normal, safe, and fully operational following the untimely passing of its Acting Airport Manager.
During a personal visit to the facility on Thursday, February 19, CAAP Director General Retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario confirmed that all essential services are functioning at full capacity. Travelers can expect:

The Director General, acting on the directives of Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez, extended the Authority’s deepest condolences to the bereaved family. We will cooperate fully with the authorities to resolve this case and ensure that justice is served for our colleague,” said Lt. Gen. Del Rosario.
