Indiana Aerospace University (IAU) is proud to highlight the career trajectory of Kleen S. Molina, a standout alumna of the Bachelor of Science in Air Transportation (BSAT) program. Her journey from dedicated student to seasoned Flight Instructor and charter pilot serves as a masterclass in professional discipline and the pursuit of aviation excellence.
Immediately following her graduation, Molina chose to remain at IAU, transitioning from student to Ground Instructor. In this role, she dedicated herself to mastering aviation fundamentals while mentoring the next generation of aviators. Her commitment to academic rigor paved the way for her promotion to Flight Instructor, where she moved from the classroom to the cockpit, providing hands-on guidance to student pilots.
Beyond the training environment, Molina expanded her operational expertise by flying charter operations with Ormoc Air Corp. This role provided her with critical, real-world decision-making experience and exposure to complex flight environments long before she donned a commercial airline uniform.
Molina credits her resilience to the demanding BSAT curriculum at IAU, which she describes as the bedrock of her career. Her path was defined by:
-
Academic Rigor: Navigating exhaustive study sessions and high-stakes check rides.
-
Character Development: Learning to maintain clarity and accountability under intense pressure.
-
Persistence: Overcoming the “plateaus” of flight training through unwavering focus. “Every phase of my training—the early call times, the long nights, and the seasons where progress felt slow—sharpened my judgment and strengthened my character,” says Molina. “IAU didn’t just teach me how to fly; it taught me how to lead.”
Kleen S. Molina’s story is a testament to the “IAU Way,” proving that a solid educational foundation combined with a diverse professional background creates a pilot who is not only technically proficient but also a grounded leader. Indiana Aerospace University remains committed to fostering such talent, ensuring our graduates are ready to meet the evolving demands of the global aviation industry.
