The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP) is pleased to announce a series of key appointments to its Board of Directors, signaling a period of dynamic leadership as the organization continues to drive excellence in the country’s logistics sector.
Jennifer Alcano appointed Vice President
Leading the new appointments is Jennifer Alcano, who has been named the new Vice President of SCMAP. Alcano, currently the Senior Business Development Manager for Maersk Contract Logistics in the Philippines, brings extensive industry expertise and a deep understanding of the association’s inner workings to her new role.
The position was filled following a vote by the SCMAP Board of Directors, triggered by the elevation of Pierre Carlo Curay to the presidency. Alcano previously served as the association’s Treasurer and will hold her new office through the end of 2026.
In addition to the Vice Presidency, SCMAP welcomes two distinguished industry leaders to its Board of Directors to fill recent vacancies:
-
Sierra Basmayor-Ng (Unilever Philippines)
-
Clarissa Castillo (Kenvue)
Both directors will serve until the end of 2026, contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the association during a pivotal time for global supply chains.
With Jennifer Alcano’s transition to Vice President, the position of Treasurer is now officially vacant. Per SCMAP protocols, a vote to fill this role from among the existing Board members will commence shortly. The results of this election will be announced to the membership and the public in due course.
“These appointments reflect the strength and diversity of our leadership talent,” the Board stated. “We are confident that the combined expertise of Ms. Alcano and our new directors will further SCMAP’s mission to move the industry forward.”
The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP) is the premier professional organization for the country’s supply chain industry.
