Robinsons Retail posts core net earnings of Php6.7 billion in 2025, up 6 percent

Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (RRHI) delivered a robust performance for the fiscal year 2025, capped by a strong fourth-quarter surge. The company reported a 9.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in core net earnings for Q4, reaching Php2.5 billion, driven by resilient consumer demand and strategic acquisitions.

The company’s full-year core net earnings climbed to Php6.7 billion, a 6.0% increase over 2024. This growth was underpinned by a 5.7% rise in annual net sales, totaling Php210.4 billion.

While Net Income Attributable to Parent (NIAP) for the full year saw a decline of 44.3% to Php5.7 billion, the company noted this was due to a high base effect in 2024, which included a significant one-time gain from the BPI and Robinsons Bank merger.

The 2025 results were bolstered by the successful consolidation of Premiumbikes Corporation, which began contributing to the company’s financials on December 1, 2025. All business segments registered positive sales growth, supported by a combination of same-store sales growth (SSSG) and new store openings.

Operating income grew faster than sales in the fourth quarter (up 12.9%), a testament to the company’s efficiency. This was achieved through:

  • Enhanced supplier support and optimized category mixes.

  • Increased penetration of high-margin private label products.

  • Disciplined cost management and improved operating leverage.

“Our performance in 2025 reflects the continued strength of our core businesses and our ability to remain agile in a dynamic retail landscape,” said Stanley C. Co, President and CEO of Robinsons Retail. “In 2026, we remain focused on expanding our footprint, elevating customer experience across our formats, and investing in strategic initiatives that reinforce our differentiation and support sustainable growth.”

As of December 31, 2025, Robinsons Retail operates a vast and diverse ecosystem of 2,763 company-owned stores, including:

  • 799 Food Stores

  • 506 Specialty Stores (including 216 Premiumbikes locations)
