AC Logistics Holdings Corporation and Glacier Megafridge, Inc. (GMI) have opened a cold storage facility in Davao, expanding cold chain capacity in Southern Mindanao and strengthening reliable, temperature-controlled logistics that reduce food loss and protect product quality.
Operated through their joint venture, GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation (GMAC), the facility is located within the Anflo Industrial Estate in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. With 11,798 pallet positions, it is among the largest and most advanced cold storage facilities in the region, serving the agriculture, aquaculture, food processing, retail and manufacturing sectors.
The facility supports the growth of MSMEs and large enterprises by enabling more efficient and modern logistics operations. It forms part of the companies’ expanding partnership to broaden cold chain capacity, extend network coverage and enhance service delivery nationwide.
The launch was attended by Erry Hardianto, President and CEO of AC Logistics; Irma DiazGuevara, Contract Logistics and National Distribution Product Head of AC Logistics; Jayford Anthony Pelaez, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Logistics; Cary Lagdameo, President of Damosa Land; Carlos Antonio Villanueva, Chief Commercial Officer of GMI; and Arturo Yan, CEO of GMI, along with representatives from local government units and industry partners.
