Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) announced the launch of NLEX KaBiyahe, a temporary toll rebate initiative aimed at providing critical financial relief to the public transportation and logistics sectors.
Running from March 23 to May 22, 2026, the program effectively rolls back toll rates at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) to their previous levels for qualified participants. This move is designed to help stabilize the cost of essential goods and protect the commuting public from the impact of volatile fuel prices.
Qualified vehicle owners can receive rebates ranging from Php 12 to Php 72 per passage, depending on their vehicle class and specific entry/exit points along NLEX.
The program is open to Class 3 vehicles, accredited Public Utility Buses (PUBs), and modernized jeepneys that meet the following criteria:
-
Class 3 Vehicles:
-
Must be a valid Easytrip subscriber in good standing.
-
Must not be enrolled in other MPTC discount programs (e.g., Toll Exemption for Agricultural Trucks).
-
-
Public Utility Buses & Modernized Jeepneys:
-
Must be LTFRB-accredited operators.
-
Must hold a pre-paid Easytrip account with sufficient balance.
-
Registration Required: Operators must enroll by emailing required documents to customercare@mptc.com.ph between March 23 and April 5, 2026. To promote road safety, any qualified participant who receives a traffic citation or violation during the program period will be automatically disqualified from the rebate.

“MPTC remains committed to being a partner in national growth,” the company stated. “By subsidizing a portion of the transit costs for our transport partners, we aim to sustain the flow of commerce and alleviate the daily burden on Filipino commuters and consumers.”
