AirAsia Philippines (Z2) and AirAsia Malaysia (AK) announce that all their international flights will now operate from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1, effective today, March 29, 2026.
This operational shift is part of a broader initiative led by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation to enhance airport efficiency, improve passenger flow, and elevate the overall travel experience for all international travelers.
All international AirAsia passengers departing from Manila will now complete their journey—from check-in and security screening to boarding and baggage claim—at Terminal 1. This change applies to all international routes operated by AirAsia Philippines and AirAsia Malaysia.
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience, passengers are advised to:
- Arrive at the airport at least three (3) hours prior to departure
- Proceed directly to Terminal 1 for all international flights
- Follow updated airport signage and announcements for directions and assistance
There are no changes to domestic operations. All AirAsia domestic flights will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2.
AirAsia encourages guests to plan ahead and allow ample time to adjust to the new terminal assignment. The airline remains committed to providing a seamless, efficient, and comfortable journey for all travelers.
