In a strategic move to optimize aviation infrastructure and improve regional travel efficiency, Cebgo and AirSwift have announced the official transfer of all scheduled flight operations from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 to Clark International Airport (CRK), effective March 29, 2026.
This transition marks the final phase of the turboprop aircraft relocation project, a mandate issued by the Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) Manila Slot Coordination Committee. The resolution, dated July 29, 2025, was established to de-congest the capital’s main gateway and streamline operations for narrow-body and wide-body jet aircraft at NAIA.
The move to Clark International Airport is expected to provide passengers with a more seamless and modernized travel experience. Clark’s state-of-the-art terminal facilities are designed to handle high passenger volumes with shorter queuing times and improved amenities.
“This final phase of our turboprop relocation is a significant milestone in the government’s long-term plan to balance air traffic across the Luzon gateway system,” a spokesperson for the Manila Slot Coordination Committee stated. “By moving smaller aircraft operations to Clark, we are creating more room for international and long-haul domestic flights at NAIA, ultimately reducing delays across the board.”
Cebgo and AirSwift are working closely with the Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp (LIPAD) to ensure a smooth transition for all affected travelers. Passengers with flights scheduled on or after March 29 are advised of the following:
- Departure/Arrival Point: All flights previously operating out of NAIA Terminal 2 will now depart from and arrive at Clark International Airport.
- Check-In: Passengers should allow for additional travel time to reach Clark. Point-to-Point (P2P) bus services are available from various locations in Metro Manila to Clark.
- Flight Verification: Travelers are strongly encouraged to verify their updated flight details, including flight numbers and departure times, to avoid any confusion.
