Globe has launched a new On-Site Distribution Office (OSDO) in Brgy. Cristo Rey, Capas, Tarlac, providing residents with easier access to essential telecom and digital services within their community.
By bringing services closer to where people live, the OSDO reduces the need for residents to travel to nearby towns or city centers to process transactions or seek assistance. The facility, launched in collaboration with Riese Telecommunication Inc., serves as a convenient hub where customers can apply for home broadband plans, purchase prepaid products, and settle bills in a single location.
The new service hub comes at a time when demand for reliable connectivity continues to grow across Capas, one of the largest municipalities in the province of Tarlac. Based on the 2024 Census of Population of the Philippine Statistics Authority, Capas has a population of 162,724 residents, reflecting steady growth from 156,056 recorded in 2020.
Within the municipality, Barangay Cristo Rey is the most populous village with more than 30,000 residents, accounting for a significant share of Capas’ population. This makes the community a key service area where reliable connectivity is increasingly essential for households that rely on the internet for schoolwork, remote employment, small enterprises, and everyday communication.
At the OSDO, customers may sign up for Globe home broadband offerings such as GFiber and Globe At Home postpaid plans, enabling households to secure dependable internet access for their digital needs. Subscribers may also purchase prepaid services from Globe, TM, and GOMO, while bill payments can be completed securely through ECPay. Bringing these services together in one location allows customers to manage their connectivity requirements more efficiently.
“The opening of this OSDO reflects Globe’s commitment to making digital services more accessible to Filipinos wherever they are,” said Raymond Mancilla, Globe Area Business Head. “We want communities in Capas to enjoy dependable broadband, prepaid connectivity, and convenient bill payment in one accessible location.”
The initiative also strengthens service distribution and customer engagement in the growing province. Through community-based service points such as the OSDO, Globe continues to expand access to connectivity tools that help enable learning, livelihood, and communication for families across Tarlac.
