PAL urges passengers to arrive earlier at terminals

To ensure a smooth travel experience, Philippine Airlines (PAL) has advised passengers to allocate extra time for their journey to the airport, especially when departing from Manila or other major airports in the Philippines due to heavy traffic this holiday season.
The country’s legacy airline has been experiencing significant increase in passenger traffic on both domestic and international flights during the Christmas and expects more on the New Year.

PAL also issued some travel tips for a hassle-free journey:

Check Before You Fly: Verify your updated flight status and terminal assignment before heading to the airport by visiting Philippine Airlines and clicking the Flight Status Tab.

Skip the Lines: Check-in online via the Philippine Airlines website or mobile app within 24 hours up to one hour before your flight.

Stay Within Your Free Baggage Allowance: Ensure your bags are within the allowable free check-in baggage weight as indicated on your ticket.

Check Your Travel Documents: Ensure the completeness and validity of all travel documents.

For International Trips:

Your passport should be valid for at least six months from your date of travel.

The name on your ticket must match exactly with the name on your passport.

Ensure you have the required visas, permits, vaccination card (if applicable), and other documents required for your destination.

For Domestic Trips:

Bring a valid government, school, or company-issued ID.

Ensure the name on your ticket matches exactly with the name on the ID presented upon check-in and boarding.

Register for E-Travel: International travelers are required to fill out the E-Travel Registration as mandated by Philippine authorities.

Check Your Terminal Assignments: In Manila, PAL domestic flights depart from NAIA Terminal 2, while PAL international flights depart from NAIA Terminal 1.

By following these guidelines, travelers can ensure a smoother and more enjoyable holiday travel experience with Philippine Airlines.
