AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp. maintained its position as the top domestic airfreight forwarder in 2024, with a commanding market share of 33.14%, representing 20.8 million kilograms of the total 62.76 million kilograms of airfreight cargo traffic, according to the latest data from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB).
This marks a year-over-year increase for AP Cargo, which also led the market in 2023 with a 29.93% share, equivalent to 17.03 million kilograms. Established as Philippine Airlines’ authorized cargo agent in 2010, the company has since expanded its role, becoming Cebu Pacific’s authorized logistics agent and Avon’s exclusive handler for Visayas and Mindanao air shipments.

Other top performers in the domestic airfreight sector included LBC Express, Inc. (11.13%), 2GO Express, Inc. (6.54%), PH Global Jet Express (5.7%), JRS Business Corp. (4.71%), Lite Xpress International, Inc. (3.99%), ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc. (3.76%), Four Aces Resources Corp. (2.69%), Wide Wide World Express Corp. (2.36%), Nonpareil International Freight & Cargo Services, Inc. (2.32%), and Airfreight 2100, Inc. (2.32%).
CAB’s data also revealed a 10.28% increase in the overall domestic airfreight cargo traffic in 2024, which rose to 62.76 million kilograms from 56.91 million kilograms in 2023. Of this total, 54.61% were direct shipments, 47.75% consisted of consolidated cargo, and 0.04% was classified as breakbulk.
As of the latest report, 95.56% of domestic airfreight forwarders had completed their cargo traffic submissions to CAB.
