Synergy Marine Group is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Jesper Kristensen as its new Group CEO, effective March 24, 2025. With a forward-thinking approach to global operations, Mr. Kristensen will lead the company through a period of transformation, focusing on expanding Synergy’s global footprint and solidifying its position as a leader in the maritime industry.
With 34 years of experience, including 17 years as Group CEO at Unifeeder, Mr. Kristensen brings unmatched expertise in shipping, outsourcing, and running customer-centric, efficient global operations. During his tenure at Unifeeder, he scaled the company into a $1 billion business, driving significant organizational change.
“My mission is to build a truly global operation,” said Mr. Kristensen. “My primary focus will be on ensuring the safety of our operations, enhancing the capabilities of both our ship and shore teams, and maintaining the reliability that our customers expect as we guide Synergy toward a successful future.”
As part of this leadership transition, Mr. Mathavan Subbiah, CEO of Marine Services & Corporate Functions, will step up to the Board of Directors. “I look forward to focusing on Synergy’s strategic direction as I transition to the Board,” said Mr. Subbiah. “I am thrilled to welcome Jesper to the team and have no doubt that his leadership will drive Synergy forward with distinction.”
