MRT-3 warns public against fake “Unlimited Ride” beep card offers on Facebook

The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) is alerting the public to fraudulent online advertisements circulating on Facebook, specifically under the page “Manila Metro,” offering “unlimited ride” beep cards. MRT-3 unequivocally states that these postings are fake and not authorized by the railway management.

These deceptive advertisements, frequently appearing on suspicious social media pages, are illegitimate and likely part of a scam intended to defraud individuals.

The MRT-3 strongly advises the public to exercise extreme caution and skepticism regarding such offers originating from unverified sources. Under no circumstances should personal information be shared or payments be made in response to these dubious advertisements.

For accurate information, official announcements, and legitimate updates regarding MRT-3 services and promotions, the public is urged to refer only to the official MRT-3 Facebook page.

MRT-3 firmly warns against the unauthorized use of its name, logo, or images for personal gain or fraudulent activities. The management reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against those involved in these illicit schemes.
