Recognizing that a robust intellectual property (IP) framework fuels technological innovation, especially in vital green technologies for sustainability and environmental stewardship, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) underscores the Philippines’ need to leverage innovation for economic growth and environmental responsibility amidst a global shift towards sustainable practices.
To accelerate this green transition, the ECCP aims to cultivate an environment that supports the development, protection, and commercialization of green technologies. Committed to engaging key public and private stakeholders, including the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), the ECCP seeks to further incentivize technological innovation and advance the country’s sustainability goals.
To this end, the ECCP is hosting a Luncheon Meeting with IPOPHL Director General Atty. Brigitte M. da Costa-Villaluz on 25 June 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This meeting will provide a platform for open dialogue on how IPOPHL’s recent initiatives, such as the Green Technology Incentive (GreenTech) Program, can drive innovation and sustainability through enhanced public-private collaboration.
