Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon administered the oath of office to the newly appointed officials. The new appointees are:
Ricardo Escolar Alfonso Jr. as Undersecretary of the Department of Transportation. Mr. Alfonso brings extensive experience to the DOTr, poised to contribute significantly to policy formulation and program implementation.
Christine Pauline Bergaño Diciano, with the rank of Commodore, for the Philippine Coast Guard. Commodore Diciano’s appointment underscores the administration’s focus on maritime safety and security, as well as strengthening the capabilities of the Philippine Coast Guard.
Oscar De Leon Paras Jr. as Acting Member, Representing the Private Sector, Board of Directors of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA). Mr. Paras’s expertise is expected to provide a valuable private sector perspective to the development and operations of the country’s primary gateway.
Jaime Tirona Lazatin as Acting Member, Board of Directors of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC). Mr. Lazatin’s appointment to CIAC’s board will contribute to the ongoing growth and strategic development of Clark International Airport as a vital aviation hub.
