DPWH completes final stages of Navotas Polytechnic College building project

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to complete and turn over the new, state-of-the-art Navotas Polytechnic College Building this September 2025. The final phase of the project, including the installation of a pump room, flagpole, and solar panels, is currently 85% complete.

“We are excited to finish this modern building that will greatly benefit the students and faculty of Navotas Polytechnic College,” said DPWH National Capital Region Director Gerard P. Opulencia. “This project aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s administration’s commitment to accelerating the construction of quality educational facilities nationwide.”

The new four-story building, with a total multi-year allocation of P664 million, will provide a significantly improved learning environment. It features a wide range of facilities, including:

Classrooms and specialized laboratories for computers, speech, and science

An audio-visual room and study areas

A gymnasium with a volleyball and basketball court

Spaces for special events, a canteen, and a garden

Essential administrative and support areas, such as a registrar’s office, a medical and dental clinic, and locker and shower rooms

Parking for cars and motorcycles

Implemented by the DPWH Malabon-Navotas District Engineering Office, the project broke ground in March 2021. The new building will address the growing needs of the college, providing modern infrastructure to support a better educational experience for its students and staff.
