Cebu Pacific (CEB) is offering flexible options to passengers whose flights may be affected by Tropical Storm Opong (International name: Bualoi), which is forecasted to bring heavy rains and flooding that may impact flight operations across its network.
To provide peace of mind and flexibility, passengers booked on flights to and from the following destinations and dates have the option to voluntarily postpone their travel:
September 25, 2025: Butuan, Calbayog, Legazpi (Daraga), Masbate, Naga, San Jose (Mindoro), Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, and Virac.
September 26–27, 2025: All flights across the Cebu Pacific network.
Passengers on these affected flights may avail of the following options up to two (2) hours before their scheduled departure time:
Free Rebooking: Rebook their flight to a new travel date without penalty.
Travel Fund: Convert the value of their booking into a Travel Fund for future use.
Passenger Advisory:
Cebu Pacific strongly advises passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have confirmed bookings for flights that are currently still planned to operate.
Passengers are urged to monitor the status of their flights by visiting the CEB website at https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status or via the CEB mobile app.
To receive timely email and SMS notifications regarding flight reminders and changes, passengers should ensure their contact details are updated via the Manage Booking portal: https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking.
For further assistance, passengers may reach out through Charlie, the virtual assistant on the Cebu Pacific website or through the airline’s official social media accounts.
Cebu Pacific will provide updates on the situation as necessary.
