PHirst Park Homes Inc. (PPHI), the affordable housing subsidiary of Century Properties Group (CPG), announced the awarding of significant housing contracts covering 13,150 new units nationwide. Valued at PHP 8.39 billion, this strategic investment is poised to take a major step in helping to address the Philippines’ national housing backlog and reaffirms PPHI’s commitment to providing affordable, high-quality homes for Filipino first-home buyers.
The new batch of units—consisting of Economic, Affordable, and Mid-Income Home Models—will be developed across nine project locations, with a target completion date before the end of 2025.
To guarantee construction efficiency and timely project completion, the contracts have been strategically awarded to both PPHI’s dedicated in-house construction arm, PHirst Build, and its long-standing partner, Megawide Construction Corp. (MCC).
- PHirst Build will handle the construction of 6,326 units in various Luzon locations, including the newly launched PHirst Park Homes Sto. Tomas and PHirst Park Homes Magalang East.
- Megawide will be responsible for delivering 5,824 precast housing units across five key growth areas, including Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas.
With an additional 1,000 units currently in the contract awarding stage, this upcoming development plan marks a monumental expansion for the company. Since its founding in 2017, PPHI has already awarded 29,306 units. This new tranche will significantly expand the company’s total housing stock to 42,456 units.
PPHI’s robust growth reflects its successful and proven track record in the affordable housing sector. The company reports strong delivery milestones, with over 15,000 units completed by the first half of 2025, a number projected to rise to approximately 18,000 units by the end of the year.
Furthermore, PPHI has successfully turned over more than 10,000 units to buyers within the same period, with expectations to reach over 14,000 total turnovers by the close of 2025, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to quality project execution.
Engr. Roy C. Lachica, Vice President for Technical Operations Division of PPHI, underscored the significance of the undertaking. “Our initiatives, fueled by innovative construction methods and strategic partnerships, represent a strong continuation of our mission to provide affordable housing solutions—making quality homes more accessible to Filipino families and helping elevate their communities,” he stated. “These efforts also enable us to continue our aggressive expansion into more locations nationwide as the company responds to the country’s growing demand for housing.”
The expansion is enabled by the collaborative strength of PHirst Build and Megawide, who employ a strategic and innovative construction approach. This partnership leverages advanced Precast and Cast-In-Place (CIP) Building systems, allowing for faster, more sustainable construction, greater efficiency, and consistent quality across all PHirst Park Homes developments.
