FastCat cancels all trips due to Tropical Cyclone “Tino,” prioritizing passenger safety

FastCat, a leading provider of ferry and sea transport services, today announced the immediate cancellation of all scheduled trips across routes anticipated to be affected by the severe weather brought by Tropical Cyclone “TINO.”

The decision comes as a necessary measure to uphold the company’s non-negotiable commitment to the safety and well-being of its passengers, crew, and vessels. Current forecasts indicate rapidly deteriorating sea conditions, high winds, and heavy rainfall that pose significant risks to maritime travel.

“The safety of our passengers and crew remains our absolute top priority,” stated a spokesman for FastCat. “We understand that this cancellation causes inconvenience, but proceeding with sailings under the severe conditions expected from Cyclone TINO is simply not an option. We are taking this decisive action now to minimize risk for everyone involved.”

Passengers holding tickets for cancelled trips are strongly advised to refrain from proceeding to the port terminals until the advisory is lifted. FastCat is actively working to contact all affected ticket holders.

Affected passengers will be given the option to:

Free Rebooking: Rebook their passage on the next available trip once normal operations resume, without any penalties or additional charges.

Full Refund: Request a full refund for the price of their ticket.

The company urges the public and affected travelers to stay updated through our official channels for the latest announcements regarding trip schedules, the specific routes affected, and the resumption of operations.

FastCat extends its sincere apologies for any disruption to travel plans caused by this weather event and thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation as we navigate these challenging conditions.
