Augusto D. Bengzon elected Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ICCP

Guillermo D. Luchangco, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines (ICCP), today announced the election of Augusto D. Bengzon as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ICCP.

Bengzon brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services and senior corporate leadership to the role. He spent 18 years in the financial services industry, including 16 years with Citibank, where he held key positions across consumer, corporate, and investment banking.

He later joined Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) as Treasurer and subsequently served as Chief Finance Officer. During his tenure at ALI, Bengzon also held concurrent roles as Chief Compliance Officer and as Chairman and Director of several subsidiaries within the Ayala Land group. He played a central role in strengthening the company’s capital position, enhancing its investor relations program, and supporting its expansion across multiple real estate asset classes.

Bengzon has received numerous local and international recognitions for excellence in financial leadership and corporate governance. His awards include Philippines’ Best CFO by Institutional Investor and Corporate Treasurer, ING-FINEX CFO of the Year, and Best Corporate CFO in Southeast Asia by FinanceAsia. Under his financial leadership, Ayala Land earned two consecutive 5-Golden Arrow Awards and achieved a Top 20 ASEAN ranking in corporate governance under the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard.

A respected leader in the financial community, Bengzon served as President of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) in 2024. He is Chairman of the FINEX Foundation for 2025 and currently serves as Chairman of the FINEX Academy.

Bengzon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
