Sunlight Air, the premier boutique airline known for its seamless travel experiences, is proud to announce a breakthrough in cabin architecture: FOLD & FLY.
Beginning today, Sunlight Air is officially retiring the era of split-up squads and awkward “middle seat” strangers by introducing the world’s first foldable five-person row configuration.
For too long, barkadas and families of five have been forced to split across aisles or rows, stifling the energy of the trip before it even begins. FOLD & FLY solves this by utilizing a proprietary, modular seating system that expands to accommodate five passengers in one continuous, side-by-side layout.
“At Sunlight Air, we believe the vacation starts the moment you step on the plane,” says the Director of In-Flight Experience. “With FOLD & FLY, we’re removing the physical barriers between friends and family. It’s about more than just transport; it’s about ensuring the chikahan never has to pause.”
Key features of the FOLD & FLY experience:
-
The Power of Five: A unique, expandable row configuration designed specifically for groups, ensuring no one is left sitting solo three rows back.
-
Optimized for Connection: More shoulder room and a shared “social zone” feel, perfect for planning itineraries, sharing snacks, or catching up.
-
Seamless Integration: Currently being rolled out across the entire Sunlight Air fleet, making it easier than ever to book group getaways to your favorite island destinations.
The FOLD & FLY seating is available for booking starting April 1st, on all Sunlight Air flights. Whether you’re heading to the crystal-clear waters of Coron or the white sands of Siargao, your group can now stay connected from takeoff to touchdown.
