Majestic Landscape Corp. is investing PHP3.6 billion as warehousing facilities provider to Total Advanced Future Technology Pte Ltd (TAFT), which is expanding its manufacturing operations for PHP10 billion in Laguna Light Industry and Science Park IV (LISP IV).
Tereso O. Panga, director general of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), said TAFT is a Singapore-based manufacturer of high-tech, climate-resilient housing solutions for the Japanese market.expanding in LISP IV. Its project is expected to generate approximately PHP7.29 billion in export revenues. The project will also expected to generate 3,000 direct jobs.
Meantime, he said, Majestic is investing PHP3.6 billion in the same special ecozone as the utilities provider for TAFT. DG Panga said that Majestic will be the one to develop the roads for TAFT as will as built warehouses for the manufacturing firm.
Ahead of its upcoming mission to Japan with developer Light Science Park of the Philippines Inc. (SPPI) and other partners, DG Panga and key officers, visited the proposed expansion site of LISP IV the designated location for the TAFT project.
SPPI is one of the country’s leading industrial estate developers, and is positioning LISP IV in Batangas as a premier destination for export-oriented companies.
Building on the momentum of TAFT’s investment, PEZA and SPPI are set to embark on a two-week investment roadshow across Japan from May 30 to June 11, 2026. The mission will cover key Japanese cities, including Fukuoka, Hamamatsu, Yokohama, Gunma, Nagano, and Tokyo, with the objective of strengthening Philippine-Japan investment partnerships and promoting the country as a competitive destination for advance manufacturing and innovation-led industries.
