Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can now use a free diagnostic tool to assess their readiness for sustainability and supply chain compliance, helping them identify audit gaps and comply with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) sustainability reporting requirement.
Clearer Pathway Business Consultancy Services issued the Asia-Pacific Green Supply Chain Quick Check to help SMEs, non-government organizations and foundations prepare for SEC Memorandum Circular (MC) 16-2025 supply chain compliance and also audit-readiness for ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001.
This 12-question assessment evaluates organizations across three key areas to identify critical compliance risks: documentation and traceability; environmental and extended producer responsibility (EPR) compliance; and social, labor and governance practices.
The first area measures whether organizations can provide verifiable evidence of supplier activities, not just what they hope their suppliers are doing.
The second section focuses on environment and EPR compliance, assessing adherence to the Extended Producer Responsibility Act of 2022 (RA 11898), Department of Environment and Natural Resources requirements, and Scope 3 emissions expectations under SEC MC 16-2025.
The third tests whether an organization can withstand scrutiny on labor practices, beneficiary protection for NGOs, and governance systems that are commonly reviewed by enterprise clients and institutional donors.
Organizations scoring below 18 out of 36 are encouraged to undergo a compliance readiness strategy session with Clearer Pathway to review their assessment results in detail, identify priority areas for improvement based on their business type, and determine whether a full compliance diagnostic is needed.
Those scoring 19 or above are advised to build on their readiness by pursuing a comprehensive compliance-readiness diagnostic, implementing relevant ISO management standards, and conducting Scope 3 emissions baseline assessment to achieve full audit readiness.
