Philippine food exporters generated nearly $3 million in actual and potential sales during the Taipei International Food Show (FOOD TAIPEI) 2026, held from June 24 to 27 at the Taipei Nangnang Exhibition Hall 2 (TaiNEX2). The event sparked strong commercial interest and opened high-quality business leads with importers, distributors, retailers and e-commerce platforms across Taiwan.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry in collaboration with the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and the Philippine Exporters Confederation Inc. (PHILEXPORT), the Philippine Pavilion showcased 12 companies under the Integrated Promotions Campaign for Philippine Food Products. The feature aimed to strengthen trade ties, expand market access and elevate the global profile of local flavors.
Visitors to the pavilion explored a wide variety of premium offerings, including coconut and ube items, pili nuts, canned crabmeat, wild raw honey, artisanal sauces, ready-to-eat meals and beverages.
Participating brands included C.O.P. Pili Sweets and Pastries (Wrapsody), Destileria Limtuaco & Co. Inc., Fruits of Life Inc., FSJ Pasalubong Sentral, Jireh Food Products, Jing’s Cuisine, JNCL Ocean Ventures, Marigold Manufacturing Corporation (Mama Sita’s), Mira’s Food and Agriventure Inc., Philippine Ube Co., Philippine Wild Raw Honey Corp. (Honey Queen) and Wellnesscare International Corp.
The delegation also joined targeted networking events organized by MECO to connect directly with Taiwanese trade buyers. Exporters also conducted market research and sales calls with a major Taiwanese retail chain, gaining key insights into local distribution channels, regulations and consumer habits.
The mission highlighted a rising demand in Taiwan for clean-label, health-oriented, convenient and sustainably sourced foods—a trend well-matched to the latest generation of Philippine export products
