A new chapter in Philippine-Vietnam travel is set to begin as Vietnam Airlines officially announces the launch of the first-ever direct flight service connecting Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) and Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN). The new route will dramatically shorten travel time and significantly boost tourism and trade between the Central Visayas region and Vietnam’s bustling capital.
The new service, set to commence on December 3, positions Hanoi, a city rich with thousands of years of history, as the next must-visit Asian destination for Filipinos. Often described as the soul of Vietnam, Hanoi offers a compelling blend of ancient and modern, from the enchanting, narrow streets of the Old Quarter to the serene beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake.
