Century Pacific Food recognized a “Most Honored Company,” secures top accolades in Extel Asia survey

Century Pacific Food, Inc., a leading food and beverage manufacturer in the Philippines, announced today its distinguished recognition in the latest Extel’s Asia Executive Team (Ex-China and Japan) Survey. CNPF was named a “Most Honored Company,” a distinction awarded to only 47 companies out of 998 nominees, based on votes from 2,909 participating portfolio managers and analysts.

CNPF’s top executives received significant individual recognition:

President & CEO Teodoro Po and CFO Chad Manapat were both ranked among the top three executives in the consumer staples sector across Asia.

In the newly introduced by-country category, Mr. Po and Mr. Manapat were recognized as the Philippines’ Best CEO and Best CFO, respectively, across all sectors.

The CNPF Board of Directors received recognition for its stewardship for the third consecutive year, underscoring the company’s commitment to best-in-class governance.

This strong showing affirms the credibility of CNPF’s leadership with both buy- and sell-side investors. Furthermore, the company’s Investor Relations Program, Officer, and Team were also cited among the best in the country.

These accolades reflect CNPF’s consistent growth trajectory, driven by its diverse, “all-weather” portfolio, which includes market leadership in marine and meat, a strong challenger position in milk, and fast-growing businesses in coconut, pet food, and plant-based alternatives.

Teodoro Po, President & CEO of CNPF, remarked, “We are deeply humbled by this recognition and grateful for the continued trust of the investing community. This honor affirms our long-term approach to growth: making affordable nutrition accessible to more families as we balance the needs of our stakeholders. The company’s consistent performance reflects the unseen hard work of the passionate and dedicated women and men of Century Pacific.”

Chad Manapat, CFO of CNPF, added, “We will continue building trust as responsible stewards of capital by investing in opportunities that secure more sustainable, more inclusive growth and develop healthier products, all leading to long-term value creation for our stakeholders. More than anything, this award is a tribute to the incredible people I get to work with every day.”

Beyond financial performance, CNPF was recognized for its comprehensive ESG program, anchored on Protein Delivery, Planet Preservation, and People Development. Key 2024 initiatives include:

Supporting nearly 30,000 livelihoods across its supply chain.

Expanding renewable energy and biomass capacity in its General Santos facilities.

Delivering over 80 million protein servings to underserved communities through its flagship Kain Po program since 2010.

Achieving 100% recovery of its plastic packaging footprint through plastic credits and engaging communities via Century Tuna’s Saving Our Seas campaign, promoting a circular economy.
