Sojits, Centro, Tadano strengthen truck-mounted crane solution for PH infrastructure

Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation, Tadano Ltd. Japan, and local body-builder company Centro Manufacturing Corporation, announced  they have strengthened their collaboration to provide better mobility solution for the Philippine construction and infrastructure sector.
The groups announced introduced the Fuso F-lift, a truck-mounted crane solution, to showcase Fuso’s engineering, Centro’s manufacturing expertise, and Tadano’s globally renowned crane technology. The announcement follows a major development in the local lifting-equipment landscape.
Under the arrangement, Tadano Ltd. Japan has officially appointed Centro as its authorized Philippine dealer for truck-mounted cranes. This new dealership role allows Centro to integrate Tadano crane systems seamlessly into Fuso platforms and other commercial vehicle applications, ensuring customers receive high-performance, safe, and durable lifting solutions backed by local service support.

“Our partnership with Centro is built on trust and a shared goal, to give Filipino businesses access to world-class lifting technology,” said Amon Hanaoka of Tadano Ltd. Japan. “By combining Tadano’s precision engineering with Centro’s deep manufacturing capability, we are confident that the F-lift will set new standards in reliability for the construction industry.”

The F-lift brings together Tadano’s advanced load-handling systems and safety features with Centro’s proven craftsmanship in specialized truck body fabrication. This collaboration ensures the product responds directly to the operational conditions faced by contractors, builders, utilities, and industrial companies across the country, particularly those needing dependable lifting equipment for increasingly complex and fast-paced projects.

Centro Manufacturing Corporation President Raphael Juan highlighted the significance of the partnership in supporting national development.

“Tadano is a world leader in crane technology, and being appointed as their Philippine dealer is a major milestone for Centro,” Juan shared. “The F-lift is a testament to what strong partnerships can achieve. By integrating Tadano cranes onto Fuso platforms with Centro engineering, we are delivering a solution built specifically for the Philippine construction sector.”

For Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation, the partnership enhances Fuso’s commitment to providing complete business solutions.

“The F-lift strengthens Fuso’s position in supporting industries that are vital to nation-building,” said Yosuke Nishi, President & CEO of Sojitz Fuso Philippines. “Working with Centro and Tadano allows us to bring to market a product that combines Japanese engineering excellence with Filipino manufacturing expertise. This is exactly the kind of collaboration that drives progress.”

The Fuso F-lift is expected to play a key role in meeting the increasing demand for safe and efficient crane trucks driven by the government’s infrastructure initiatives and private sector expansion. With the Centro–Tadano partnership now formalized, customers can expect a broader range of crane solutions, improved after-sales support, and better access to globally trusted lifting technology.

As the construction sector continues to grow, the combined strengths of Fuso, Centro, and Tadano position the F-lift as a strategic, reliable, and future-ready solution—one built through partnership and designed for Philippine progress.
