Homegrown wellness products manufacturer putting up PHP500 M factory

Goodfield International Trading Corp. is investing over PHP500 million to manufacture essential oils, liquid and bar soaps, candles, diffuser oils, and reed diffusers as a domestic market enterprise in a pharmaceutical economic zone in Victoria, Tarlac.
PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga and Goodfield International Trading Corp. President Melissa Yeung-Yap formalized the registration agreement, with Deputy Director General for Operations Vivian S. Santos serving as witness, on March 30, 2026.
Located at Victoria Industrial Park (VIP) in Brgy. Baculong, Victoria, Tarlac, Goodfield’s production of various wellness products is expected to strengthen the homegrown wellness manufacturing ecosystem in the country.
With an investment of over PHP500 million, the project is expected to generate more than 290 direct Filipino jobs while deepening the country’s capacity to produce natural, sustainably sourced, and value-added wellness products.
Goodfield has also partnered with Tarlac State University and Tarlac Agricultural University to support researchers and facilitate community collaborations with farmers and indigenous communities.
In alignment with the Pharmazone Guidelines and strengthened by regulatory enhancements from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), PEZA and VIP continue to build an enabling environment where wellness-driven enterprises can thrive.
Already, VIP is preparing for a 60–100-hectare expansion to welcome high-value locators, sustain rapid growth, and provide Filipino enterprises the opportunity to showcase world-class talent, expand capabilities, and create more quality jobs in line with the goals of the Tatak Pinoy Act.
Director General Panga said, “With PEZA’s full support and the steadfast commitment of Victoria Industrial Park, we continue to nurture enterprises that champion Filipino ingenuity and promote a thriving wellness and pharmaceutical ecosystem. This registration reflects our drive to support Tatak Pinoy industries—empowering local manufacturers, lowering the cost of medicine, uplifting communities, and strengthening the Philippines’ position in the global value chain.”
