Chelsea Group hits record PHP9.016 B revenue in 2025; EBITDA surges 55%

Chelsea Logistics and Infrastructure Holdings Corp. announced a record-breaking PHP9.016 billion in revenue for 2025, a 13 percent year-on-year increase.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Monday, May 18, Chelsea Logistics CFO Darlene S. Agus-Binay said the Group’s performance marked a strategic transition from one-time accounting gains to sustainable operational growth. While 2024 profits included one-off gains from debt restructuring and property settlements, the PHP50 million profit in 2025 evidenced the strength of the Group’s core business.

EBITDA which surged 55 percent captured the actual cash-generating power and confirmed a successful shift toward high-quality, repeatable earnings. President & CEO Chryss Alfonsus V. Damuy attributed the Group’s momentum to robust growth across freight, passage, logistics, and chartering segments.

Key drivers included strategic volume and rate gains in cargo and passage; a major expansion in B2B logistics; and the scaling of the Group’s F&B operations.

Mr. Damuy also highlighted the disciplined overhead management, which achieved a near 100% availability rate for tankers and tugboats. By diversifying spare part suppliers and streamlining drydocking, the Group effectively minimized off-hire days and bypassed global shipping delays.

In December 2025, the Group welcomed the 67-meter MV Starlite Resilience. The vessel commenced operations in February 2026 and holds Pioneering Status for its specialized multi-leg route, providing critical connectivity between Roxas-Caticlan-OdionganBatangas-Romblon-Magdiwang-Culasi.

To mitigate the impact of the 2026 global oil crisis, Mr. Damuy detailed a proactive strategy to offset soaring diesel prices. Through Bunker Adjustment Factors, MARINA regulated rate adjustments, and the aggressive route optimization, the Group is shielding its operations from market volatility to ensure services remain fuel-efficient and commercially viable.

Beyond profitability, Chelsea Logistics champions sustainability and social responsibility through reforestation, blood donation drives, and feeding programs.
