Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua expressed strong support for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of inclusive and accountable governance during the official launch of the National Government–Bangsamoro Government Convergence Program at Camp Siongco.
The milestone event was led by President Marcos Jr. and highlighted by a ceremonial turnover of approximately ₱3.4 billion in development assistance aimed at enhancing public service delivery across the region.
Addressing government officials and parliament members, Chief Minister Macacua emphasized the vital partnership between the national government and the Bangsamoro leadership in achieving peace and sustainable development.
“We should be one with the vision of our President, His Excellency Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ R. Marcos Jr., to promote inclusive and accountable governance,” Chief Minister Macacua stated. “Together we will work as One Bangsamoro people para sa Mas Matatag na Bangsamoro at para sa Bagong Pilipinas. Let’s keep pushing forward! Indeed, together, we can make a difference for our Bangsamoro people!”
The Convergence Program integrates resources from both national agencies and regional ministries—including the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC)—to accelerate infrastructure builds and social services.
Chief Minister Macacua urged regional ministries to maintain a people-first approach as program implementation begins:

Pooled Resources: Maximize efficiency by uniting national and regional budgets for high-impact projects.

Enhanced Capability: Enable local government units (LGUs) and regional offices to effectively carry out their mandates.

Dedicated Public Service: “I enjoin all the ministries in the BARMM government to serve with a purpose, to serve with a heart, and to prioritize the welfare of our beloved Bangsamoro people,” Macacua added.
