The Office for Transportation Security (OTS) is actively participating in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Aviation Security Manager Course, held from 19 to 27 August 2026.
Hosted by the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme – Asia Pacific (CASP-AP) in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of Vanuatu, the regional training program brings together 24 aviation security professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Representing the Philippines are Director Ruben B. Fajardo Jr. of the Transport Security Policy and Program Service (TSPPS) and Director Nicolas J. Quemado Jr. of the Transport Security Accreditation and Training Management Service (TSATMS).

Regional Collaboration: The course serves as a collaborative platform for aviation experts to exchange operational experiences, share effective security practices, and strengthen regional management capabilities.

International Standards: Insights and methodologies acquired during the program will be integrated into the Philippines’ aviation security framework, ensuring strict alignment with ICAO standards and global best practices.
