Manila Water unit expands into water and wastewater operations and maintenance

Manila Water Non-East Zone operating unit, Manila Water Infratech Solutions, introduced Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services, expanding its capabilities as a full water and wastewater infrastructure partner.

MWIS now offers an integrated Design, Build, Operate, and Maintain approach that supports water and wastewater assets across their entire lifecycle. The company combines engineering, construction, and operational expertise to serve utilities, industrial locators, commercial establishments, property developers, and local government units.

In a statement, MWIS said its O&M services provide expertise in water treatment plant operations, sewage treatment plant operations, utility management, preventive and corrective maintenance, process optimization, asset performance management, sewer network maintenance, and desludging services. The capabilities aim to help clients improve operational reliability, extend asset life, enhance regulatory compliance, and optimize operations.

Adrian Bryan Magallanes, General Manager of MWIS, said the company aims to be more than a project delivery partner. He stated that with the introduction of O&M services, MWIS is expanding its role across the entire asset lifecycle and helping clients maximize the value of their investments through reliable, efficient, and sustainable operations. He noted that the company leverages Manila Water’s decades of expertise in water and wastewater management to provide the technical capabilities and operational excellence needed to keep critical infrastructure performing.

Magallanes added that through the integrated Design, Build, Operate, and Maintain approach, MWIS supports clients in achieving greater operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset sustainability. Armin A. Amio, Editor
