WTO launches enhanced Tariff & Trade Data Platform (TTD) with integrated data sources

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has unveiled its Tariff & Trade Data (TTD) platform, a significant advancement in accessing official tariff and trade information for over 150 economies. Currently in beta, TTD integrates data from core WTO sources—the Integrated Database (IDB), Consolidated Tariff Schedules (CTS), and Analytical Database (ADB)—along with external contributions from partners like UN Comtrade and the International Trade Centre.

Presented to WTO members at the Committee on Market Access, TTD offers a robust suite of features designed to improve trade analysis:

  • Access to detailed profiles for 150+ economies, including key tariff and trade statistics.
  • Comprehensive bilateral trade datasets, providing annual flows by product category.
  • Detailed reports on import and export patterns, analyzing trade values and shares by partner and product.
  • Time series reports offering historical tariff and trade data from 1996 onwards.
  • Granular tariff information and import data at the tariff line level.
  • Data download functionality for efficient analysis.
  • A comprehensive inventory of data coverage notes and links to related WTO resources.
  • Public access, without the need for a login.
  • Multi-tiered update system, providing data from daily to monthly updates.

TTD builds upon the previous Tariff Analysis Online, offering a more integrated and user-friendly experience. Future updates will introduce additional functionalities and features.
