ISI E-Beam, a wholly owned subsidiary of A Brown Company, has made a strategic investment of ₱12.5 million in Accudata Analytical Labs Corporation (Accudata), acquiring a 35% equity stake. The partnership aims to enhance ISI E-Beam’s microbiological testing capabilities and expand its suite of integrated services for clients in the food, pharmaceutical, and medical industries.
Accudata, based in Calamba, Laguna, is a specialized diagnostics and product safety laboratory providing microbial testing and regulatory compliance services. Its expertise spans pathogen detection, spoilage organisms, and mycotoxin analysis in food and feed products, as well as microbial testing of raw materials, water, and industrial inputs.
Accudata also plans to introduce new services such as sterility, bioburden, pathogen detection, and antimicrobial resistance testing, catering to the evolving needs of the food, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors. The lab is recognized as the fastest provider of African Swine Fever (ASF) diagnostics in the market, delivering RT-PCR and ELISA results within 24 hours.
This collaboration empowers ISI E-Beam to offer a fully integrated service model, combining its state-of-the-art electron beam (E-Beam) sterilization with advanced laboratory diagnostics. The result: a streamlined process that ensures faster turnaround times, robust regulatory support, and the convenience of working with a single provider for both sterilization and laboratory verification.
“We are excited to launch this partnership, combining our organizations’ expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and product integrity,” said Paul Juat, President of ISI E-Beam, and Robert William “Will” Tan, President of Accudata Analytical Labs, in a joint statement.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to elevating healthcare and food safety standards across the country. Accudata was founded by a team of Philippine Science High School (PSHS) alumni, including Will Tan and former NEDA Secretary Dr. Cielito Habito, with a vision to apply science-based solutions for the public good. Now, that mission continues with fellow PSHS alumnus Paul Juat at the helm of ISI E-Beam.
The investment will fund the expansion of Accudata’s laboratory infrastructure, the upgrade of equipment, and the rollout of new testing services, reinforcing its role as a trusted diagnostics partner in the Philippines.
Both companies are actively scaling their national presence to serve industries where sterilization and product safety are vital to operations and market success.
