Isuzu Philippines continues dominance with 43% share in truck market

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) continues its streak as the leading truck brand in the country, securing an impressive 43 percent truck market share from January to April, based on the combined report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Phils., Inc (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA).

With 1,592 truck units sold in the first four months of the year, IPC further solidifies its reputation as the most trusted truck brand in the Philippines for 25 consecutive years.

Best-selling trucks solutions

The Isuzu N-Series led sales with 905 units, reflecting a 7.2 percent growth from the same period in 2024. Its popularity continues among logistics and delivery business nationwide, that to its versatility and ease of use – especially with the availability of the Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT), ideal for navigating congested urban areas.

Following closely is the Isuzu medium-duty trucks, which recorded 545 units sold, marking a 2.4  percent year-on-year increase. These trucks are favored for long-haul routes and are designed to be fitted with different body applications with added driver safety.

Meanwhile, heavy-duty trucks showed a remarkable 59 percent increase compared to last year, with 142 units sold – the majority coming from the newly introduced S&E Series. The demand surge is largely driven by infrastructure projects and support from local government units. Equipped with features like Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and an Advance Instrument Cluster with Driver coaching, these trucks set a new benchmark in safety and operational efficiency.

Beyond outstanding product quality, Isuzu’s market leadership is reinforced by its robust aftersales support known as the ‘Isuzu Advantage’.
