Building on the momentum of its 2023 Taiwan Sales Mission, Clark International Airport (CRK) recently hosted the Central Luzon Taiwan Roadshow 2025 in Taipei, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening tourism and economic ties between Central Luzon and Taiwan. The event, held at the Amazing Hall, gathered 50 key Taiwanese travel agents and tour operators to boost the demand for the popular Clark-Taiwan flight route and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
The roadshow’s timing is particularly strategic, following a recent increase in the Clark-Taiwan flight frequency from 11 to 16 flights per week. This expansion marks a notable increase in passenger demand and underscores the robust bilateral interest in travel between the two destinations. The existing visa-free entry agreement between Taiwan and the Philippines further simplifies travel, creating a seamless experience for tourists and business travelers alike.
During the event, delegates from CRK, Clark Development Corporation (CDC), and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) delivered presentations highlighting the region’s diverse offerings. They were joined by leading Central Luzon tourism and hospitality partners who provided updates on their latest attractions and services. These partners included:
- Hann Philippines Inc. (Swissotel Clark)
- Park Inn by Radisson Clark
- Quest Plus Conference Center Clark
- A2B Premier Consultancy Corp.
- Pinatubo Mountainero
- Plaza Premium Group
- Solar Jam Travel Company | ATTAP
A B2B networking lunch session was a key feature of the roadshow, allowing Taiwanese travel agents to connect directly with Philippine tourism suppliers. This provided a crucial platform for establishing new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships, which are vital for future growth.
The successful roadshow reaffirms CRK’s role, alongside the Department of Tourism – Taiwan, the CDC, and the SBMA, in positioning Central Luzon as a premier tourism and economic hub in the region.
