OMNI Aviation Corporation, a premier aviation training center in the Philippines, and Dviation Training Centre (DTC), the training arm of the Dviation Group, officially announced a significant strategic partnership today by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 exhibition in Singapore.
The agreement marks a crucial step toward strengthening the aviation workforce and infrastructure in the Philippines by providing globally recognized, European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) 147 Type Training Courses locally.
The long-term Training Service Agreement will see Dviation Training Centre deliver its specialized EASA-standard courses on various aircraft types directly to Filipino aviation professionals through OMNI Aviation. This landmark initiative is designed to eliminate the need for local professionals to travel abroad for essential EASA certifications, a move expected to significantly reduce costs for students and operators while expanding access to world-class training within the country.
Captain Eleazar Cayago, Vice President and Accountable Manager of OMNI Aviation Corporation, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “This partnership with Dviation Training Centre will enable us to empower Filipino aviation professionals with the highest standards of training,” said Capt. Cayago. “It underscores our commitment to advancing training capabilities and ensuring that our local workforce is aligned with international aviation benchmarks, ultimately supporting the Philippines’ aspiration to become a key player in the regional aerospace industry.”
This collaboration is a strategic response to the pressing need for a highly skilled and internationally-certified Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) workforce in the Asia-Pacific region. By combining OMNI Aviation’s established position and facilities in the Philippines with Dviation’s global expertise in EASA-compliant training, the partnership is set to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
Ibnu Hidayat, Chief Executive Officer of Dviation Training Centre, added, “DTC is excited to partner with OMNI Aviation to bring our internationally benchmarked training to the Philippines. OMNI Aviation’s reputation for excellence makes them the ideal partner for this endeavor. We are confident that by making EASA 147 Type Training readily available, we are not just investing in individual careers, but in the entire future of the Philippine aviation sector.”
This MoU was one of four significant agreements signed by Dviation Training Centre during MRO Asia-Pacific 2025, highlighting its accelerated strategy to bolster regional aviation workforce development across Southeast Asia.
