BCDA wins Silver Stevie for One Clark Annual Report

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has once again earned international  acclaim for its commitment  to excellence in governance and communication, securing a prestigious Silver Stevie Award at this year’s International Business Awards (IBA).

The recognition was conferred upon BCDA’s 2023 Annual Report titled “One Clark” under the Best in Publications-Government Agencies category during the awards banquet held on 10 October 2025 at the Corinthia Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.

This distinguished accolade highlights BCDA’s dedication to enhancing public engagement and showcasing its significant contributions to national development. It also solidifies the Authority’s position as a frontrunner in innovative reporting practices among organizations worldwide.

“Thank you to the International Business Awards for the meaningful recognition given to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority and for once again recognizing our commitment to building better and greater cities while supporting the modernization of our Armed Forces,” BCDA Chairperson Hilario B. Paredes said as he represented BCDA at the ceremony. “We dedicate this inspiring and prestigious award and this great honor to the Filipino people whom we serve.”

“This recognition from IBA stands as a testament to the hard work, collaboration, and purpose-driven communication that have defined our organization. Earning this award reflects our steadfast commitment to telling BCDA’s story with clarity and integrity,” said BCDA Vice President for Public Affairs Leilani Barlongay-Macasaet said.

The “One Clark” report stands out for its comprehensive presentation of BCDA’s transformative initiatives in 2023. It highlights key milestones in flagship development projects, financial performance, and strategic efforts to convert former military bases into dynamic economic centers.

Selected from over 3,800 nominations across 78 countries and territories, BCDA’s “One Clark” report was cited for its impact, creativity, and excellence in communication. The Stevie Awards, widely recognized as the world’s premier business awards program, is the only international recognition platform that celebrates innovation across the global workplace.

This Silver Stevie marks the third major international recognition for the “One Clark” report, following its Gold Quill Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and a Silver Stevie at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

Through the “One Clark” annual report, BCDA continues to set a benchmark for how government agencies can communicate transparency, accountability, and nation-building efforts through publications that inform, engage, and inspire.
