Philippine Airlines (PAL) today announced the preemptive cancellation of several domestic flights scheduled for Sunday, November 9, and Monday, November 10, 2025, due to the anticipated impact and adverse weather conditions associated with Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-Wong).
The decision was made to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew, as the typhoon is forecast to affect parts of Luzon and Visayas in the Philippines.

Philippine Airlines is offering flexible options to all passengers whose flights have been cancelled:
- Rebook Your Ticket: Passengers may rebook their flight in the same cabin class on a flight with available space within 60 days from their original travel date. Rebooking fees and fare differences will be waived.
- Convert to Travel Credits (5% Bonus): Passengers can convert the value of their unused ticket into Travel Credits, which will be valid for two years and can be used for future PAL ticket purchases. As an added benefit, passengers affected by this typhoon disruption will receive a 5% bonus value when converting to Travel Credits.
- Request a Refund: Passengers who choose not to rebook or take travel credits may request a full refund for the unused value of their ticket (excluding the ticketing service charge).
PAL strongly advises affected passengers not to proceed to the airport and to utilize the airline’s digital channels for assistance.
