Philippine participation in Cosmoprof Asia 2025, led by the Department of Trade and Industry, generates more than USD 2.4 million in potential sales from 17 local personal care companies, following over 100 business meetings and trade inquiries with global buyers.
This achievement was driven by DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque’s strategic leadership and steadfast support to Philippine MSMEs and brands. The pavilion showcased globally competitive beauty and wellness products, manufacturing capabilities, and opened new international market opportunities for MSMEs.
“The impressive results of our participation in Cosmoprof Asia signal that the world is ready for more Filipino beauty and wellness products,” Secretary Roque said. “Our MSMEs have proven that they can compete globally, and DTI remains committed to opening doors and providing the support they need to grow further and succeed internationally—bringing more opportunities, jobs, and income to our local industries.”
A key highlight was HairReve’s selection for Cosmoprof BeautyHunt, a prestigious program spotlighting innovative beauty brands. Known for its stress-responsive haircare solutions, HairReve stood out as an ideal fit for Hong Kong’s fast-paced market and was recommended to consumers seeking effective, high-performance products tailored to high-pressure lifestyles.
As an outcome of the initiative, Enjoy Health, a Philippine pavilion exhibitor, secured a partnership with Hong Kong’s organic retailer Manna Living Palace. Enjoy Health’s products have been displayed in-store immediately after Cosmoprof, giving the brand early market exposure and a strong foothold in Hong Kong’s wellness sector
Following the trade show, Philippine participants were also invited to a free seminar on China Market Entry Compliance Guidance, which offered practical insights on regulatory requirements, product registration processes, and compliance strategies for companies seeking to enter or expand within the Greater China market.
The delegation also further strengthened industry linkages through engagements with the Hong Kong eCommerce Supply Chain Association, the Hong Kong Perfumery Association, and major Alibaba platforms, TMall Global and Taobao, which provides Philippine exporters valuable pathways to tap into the broader Asian consumer market.
