FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ leading end-to-end logistics provider, has opened a new warehouse facility in Opol, Misamis Oriental to support businesses operating in Cagayan de Oro and nearby areas in Northern Mindanao.
The new warehouse is located about 30 minutes from Cagayan de Oro City and 25 kilometers from Laguindingan Airport. The facility offers 1.8 hectares of leasable space, with room to expand by up to 5 hectares and bring the total property area to 6 hectares.
The facility features a state-of-the-art design with a high-clearance ceiling, enabling higher pallet storage capacity and efficient installation of racking systems. It is also equipped with 1.2-meter-high docking bays to support faster, safer, and more seamless loading and unloading operations.
The Opol Hub adds to FAST’s nationwide network of more than two million square meters of warehouse space across over 150 hubs—the largest in the Philippines. FAST also operates one million dry pallet positions and 30,000 cold storage pallet positions.
Before the launch of the new warehouse, FAST has been operating three other hubs in Misamis Oriental for its Principals: Bulua, Tagoloan, and Casinglot.
“This new warehouse underscores FAST’s long-term commitment to Cagayan de Oro and the entire Mindanao as a critical growth engine for Philippine trade,” said Manuel L. Onrejas Jr., FAST CEO for Logistics.
“By bringing modern, strategically located facilities closer to our customers, we are enabling faster, more reliable supply chains that help businesses scale efficiently across the island.”
Recognizing Cagayan de Oro’s contribution to the local economy, Onrejas noted the Opol hub can support distribution across nearby municipalities in Misamis Oriental, as well as Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, and neighboring Agusan provinces.
Designed for flexibility, the facility can serve as a third-party distribution hub for large companies across various industries, including consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and agribusiness.
The FAST Opol Hub is also open to small and medium-sized companies through a pay-per-pallet, per-day model, providing a scalable and flexible storage solution.
The site is supported by FAST’s Warehouse Management System, enabling real-time inventory visibility, accurate order processing, and efficient warehouse operations.
Aron Javier, FAST Business Unit Head for Warehousing Solutions, said the new facility is designed to address the growing demand for flexible and scalable storage solutions in Mindanao.
“Our new hub gives customers the ability to expand or adjust space requirements in Northern Mindanao as their business needs evolve, while benefiting from FAST’s integrated logistics capabilities,” Javier said.
“We also aim to create meaningful local employment opportunities in Cagayan de Oro through the operations of this facility, helping build skills, careers, and stronger communities in Mindanao,” he added.
With the new hub, FAST aims to further strengthen supply chain connectivity between Mindanao and the rest of the country, supporting regional growth and enabling businesses to strengthen supply chain capabilities.
