SB Corp., the micro-lending arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), is making available PHP4 billion for lending to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with no collateral requirement.
Launched on Monday, April 7, the MSME Business Fund can be availed via online application at sbcorp@dti.gov.ph.
DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque said that capital is critical for any business, especially during times such as this.
Loans of up to PHP5 million is collateral free and non-interest bearing on principal for one year to give MSMEs enough time.
“I encourage all the MSMEs out there to take advantage of this opportunity that the DTI through SB Corporation and the Philippine government can give to you,” said Secretary Roque.
She explained that the fund was created to ensure to address businesses continue to operate smoothly, buy their raw materials, and expand their operations.
