The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) welcomed the return of the international residential cruise ship MS Odyssey (Villa Vie Odyssey) to Manila South Harbor. Cruising from Boracay, the vessel docked at Pier 15 on June 7, 2026, marking its second visit to the capital since September 2025.
This historic return coincides with a landmark milestone: the official designation of the Villa Vie Odyssey as the world’s very first Global Flagship for Peace under the UNESCO Center for Peace.
Carrying 219 passengers and 196 crew members, the residential vessel is more than just a luxury cruise ship—it is now a mobile beacon for global harmony. The UNESCO Center for Peace initiative leverages the ship’s unique continuous global voyage to promote cross-cultural exchange, education, unity, and critical humanitarian projects across the globe.
To honor this distinction, an official designation ceremony was hosted at Pier 15 on June 8, 2026. The event celebrated the vessel’s new mission and highlighted the Philippines’ role in hosting such a monumental international gathering.
