DTI-CARP caravan generates over P3M in sales

The Department of Trade and Industry Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (DTI-CARP) successfully hosted the Negosyo Agraryo Mini Caravan from June 23 to 25, 2026, at the Trade and Industry Building in Makati City, generating P3,020,851 in total sales.

Held in conjunction with the CARP anniversary celebration, the three-day event boosted the market reach and brand visibility of agrarian reform products, successfully connecting rural producers with urban consumers across Metro Manila.

The caravan showcased 20 on-site exhibitors from Regions 1, 2, 3, and MIMAROPA, alongside 29 off-site micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) participating through a pre-order system. Together, they offered a diverse lineup of fresh produce, rice, dairy, processed meats, fruits, nuts, pastries, and regional coffee. The setup allowed entrepreneurs to engage directly with buyers, gather real-time product feedback, and secure immediate sales.

A major highlight was the June 25 Business and Product Pitching session, organized with the Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and One Town, One Product (BMDPO). The platform allowed local entrepreneurs to pitch value propositions to institutional buyers, including The Vegan Grocer, The Good Store, Picks Food Products Trading, SBE Events, and The Belamy House. The event also welcomed the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council (PARC) Secretariat, led by Director Ramones, and partners from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA CARP-IC).

The initiative’s commercial results underscored its success, led by the top three sellers from Pampanga and Bulacan. The caravan facilitated major marketing agreements with The Moment Group of Restaurants and the Global Organic and Wellness Corporation, alongside bulk orders from private buyers across Metro Manila and Central Luzon.

Further partnerships with the MSME Hub and The Belamy House are currently under negotiation. Consumer demand was so robust that exhibitors completely sold out their inventory, prompting daily restocks. Buyers praised the event, noting that the products were “fresh, delicious, and affordable.”

Featured participants contributing to this success included Bantog Samahang Nayon, Patasda ARB, Mabuhay Agri Crop, RV De Dios Food Products, Lola Purings, Caviteño Isabelino, Villa Pascua, Nararagan Valley, Epiphany, Granda’s Sweets, Montey’s Food, Willy’s Cashew Nuts, John N Mico, 3 Sisters, Joyful Garden Farm, Sta. Maria Dairy, Matawe ARBs, Min’s Miraculous Mushroom, Saint Joseph, and Tiblac Farmers.

Moving forward, DTI-CARP will monitor the ongoing negotiations and provide technical guidance to help these agrarian reform entrepreneurs finalize their commercial agreements. Building on this momentum, the program remains committed to refining future caravans to widen market access and deepen the economic impact for its beneficiaries.
