The Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) and the City Government of Makati have officially partnered to digitalize the city’s public payment systems, offering residents and businesses a safer, faster, and more convenient way to settle local government fees.
LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz and Makati City Mayor Maria Lourdes Nancy S. Binay led the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on July 9, 2026, at the Makati City Hall. The agreement marks the official implementation of the LANDBANK Link.BizPortal as a primary digital payment channel for the collection of local taxes, permits, licenses, and other municipal fees.
“Through this partnership, the City Government of Makati will be able to provide its constituents with more accessible and efficient payment services, while enabling real-time payment posting, faster reconciliation, and enhanced revenue collection.”
The integration of the Link.BizPortal is expected to significantly reduce foot traffic at city hall, eliminate long queues, and streamline Makati’s financial operations by automating the backend tracking of revenues.
-
For Constituents: 24/7 access to a secure, online payment gateway for taxes, business permits, and licenses, eliminating the need for in-person transactions.
