SINGAPORE—ABC Impact, a Singapore-based private equity firm backed by Temasek Trust, reaffirmed its commitment to support Ayala Group’s AC Health in expanding access to quality healthcare across the Philippines. The expansion is expected to support around 10,000 direct healthcare and retail jobs in the country by 2027.
The commitment was highlighted during a meeting in Singapore with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and representatives from the Temasek Trust ecosystem, ABC Impact, and the Ayala Group, held on the sidelines of the President’s visit to Singapore from July 16 to 17, 2026.
Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cristina A. Roque welcomed the collaboration, noting that the partnership reflects a key priority of the Marcos Jr. administration to expand essential services while generating high-value employment opportunities for Filipinos.
“This investment is a vote of confidence in the Philippines and in Filipino healthcare workers. ABC Impact’s partnership sends a clear signal to other investors about where this country is headed. By supporting the expansion of hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies across the country, this investment will bring healthcare services closer to Filipino communities while creating quality jobs for healthcare professionals and retail workers,” Secretary Roque said.
ABC Impact’s investment in AC Health, which was announced in August 2025, gives it an approximately 16% minority stake in the company. The fresh capital will support AC Health’s expansion across hospitals, multi-specialty clinics, and retail pharmacies through greenfield development, hospital bed expansion, and targeted acquisitions.
By 2027, AC Health aims to expand its network to at least 10 hospitals, 300 clinics, and 1,150 pharmacies nationwide. The expansion is expected to support around 10,000 direct healthcare and retail jobs, subject to the final mix of new facilities and acquisitions.
The meeting with President Marcos reinforced ABC Impact’s confidence in partnering with AC Health to help build a more integrated healthcare ecosystem for Filipinos, while further deepening the long-standing relationship between the Ayala Group and the Temasek Trust ecosystem.
Joining President Marcos at the meeting were DTI Industry Development Group Undersecretary Ceferino S. Rodolfo, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig, and Philippine Trade and Investment Centre-Singapore Commercial Counsellor Carla Grepo. Representatives from ABC Impact, Temasek Trust, Temasek Foundation, AC Health, and Ayala Corporation were also in attendance.
