Cebu Pacific and Lufthansa Technik are further expanding their extensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) cooperation with the signing of a new three-year contract.
Signed in Manila, the agreement covers 18 additional shop events for the CFM56-5B engines powering Cebu Pacific’s Airbus A320ceo family fleet.
This contract marks the conclusion of the airline’s final MRO tender for its legacy narrowbody engines as Cebu Pacific continues its fleet transition to the latest-generation A320neo family.
Key highlights of the agreement:

Duration & Scope: A three-year agreement encompassing 18 CFM56-5B engine shop events.

Global Support: Comprehensive sustainment and complete overhauls will be handled by Lufthansa Technik’s premier engine shops in Hamburg, Germany, and Dublin, Ireland.

Immediate Launch: The first engine covered under this new contract is scheduled to arrive at the Dublin facility by the end of this month.
